Can you take over a Lovable project someone else started?

Yes. That is one of the most common things we do. We start with a review of the code and database so we can tell you honestly what state the project is in, what can be reused and what should be rebuilt, before any larger work begins.

Can we move the project to our own hosting and repository?

Yes. We export the code to a repository you own, set up the build and deployment pipeline, move environment variables and the database, and verify that everything works in the new environment before we switch the domain over.

Is a Lovable app secure enough for production?

It can be, but it is rarely secure by default. The most common issues we find are missing row level security, over-permissive policies and secrets used in client code. These are fixable, and the security review is usually the first thing we do.

What does it cost to finish a project?

It depends entirely on the state of the project and how much remains. We therefore quote in two steps: a fixed price for the review, and then a proposal with scope and price for the work itself once we know what we are dealing with.

Are you affiliated with Lovable?

No. We are an independent digital agency that works in the tool daily. Lovable is a trademark of its owner and we have no formal partnership.

How long does it take to finish a Lovable project?

The review takes a few days. After that, most projects we take over reach production within two to six weeks, depending on how much is missing and how quickly decisions and content arrive from your side.

Can we keep building in Lovable after you are done?

Yes. We can leave the project in Lovable with a cleaner structure and documented conventions so your team keeps prompting safely, or move it to a standard repository if you prefer to continue in a regular development workflow.

Help with Lovable projects

Lovable makes it remarkably fast to go from idea to a working prototype. What it does not do for you is the last mile: hardening the database rules, structuring the code so a team can maintain it, making the site genuinely fast and accessible, and getting it indexed properly. We pick up Lovable projects at exactly that point — whether you want it finished and launched, reviewed before you invest more, or moved out into your own repository and hosting.

We start with a review of the generated code, database rules and connected services. We look at row level security, secrets, image optimisation, performance and search engine readiness. You then get a clear action plan with priorities and pricing. We work in Lovable every day, so we read the generated code, the Supabase schema and the edge functions without a long ramp-up, which means we can start fast.

What we do

01Finish and launch a started Lovable project

02Code review: structure, dependencies, dead code

03Security review of database rules (RLS), policies and secrets

04Performance: Core Web Vitals, images, bundle size

05SEO: metadata, structured data, sitemap, indexing

06Accessibility (WCAG) and keyboard/screen reader support

07Real design work instead of default AI aesthetics

08Integrations: payments, email, CRM, analytics

09Custom domain, DNS and production setup

10Handover with documentation, or ongoing maintenance

Common problems we find

—Database tables without row level security, or policies that let anyone read
—API keys and secrets exposed in client-side code
—Duplicated components and logic spread across many files
—Missing or identical page metadata, so pages never rank
—Large unoptimised images that ruin loading speed on mobile
—Broken flows once real users and real data arrive
—No error handling, no logging and no way to see what failed

Porting and migration

→Export to your own GitHub repository with a clean commit history
→Move hosting to your own provider (Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, AWS or your own server)
→Migrate the database off the managed backend to your own Postgres or Supabase project
→Rebuild the frontend in React, Next.js or TanStack Start on your terms
→Move content into a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Concrete CMS) when editors need it
→Rebuild the store in Shopify or WooCommerce when e-commerce is the core
→Port the backend to Laravel, .NET or Node when the logic outgrows the prototype

How it works

Review

You give us access. We go through code, database, security and performance and write down what we find.

Plan

You get a prioritised list: what must be fixed before launch, what can wait, and what it costs.

Build

We finish the project, port it, or both — with you seeing progress continuously.

Launch & handover

Production setup, documentation and a code base you own. Ongoing support if you want it.
