Founded by Carl-Johan Beckman and Hampus Wik — the same team that built Awave into one of Scandinavia's most awarded digital agencies with 70 employees, nearly 70 MSEK in revenue, and operations in three countries.
After many years together and a well-needed break from the industry, we realized one thing: we love this too much to stop. Greater Star was born out of pure joy, deep expertise, and a desire to do things even better — with strong client relationships and efficient project delivery at the core of everything we do.

CEO & Co-founderHampus joined the team in 2008 and played a key role in scaling the agency to 70 employees across three countries. With extensive experience in technical architecture, project delivery, and team building, he ensures that every Greater Star project is built for performance, scalability, and long-term success.
Carl-Johan Beckman
COO & Co-founderCarl-Johan founded Awave in 2007 and grew it into one of Scandinavia's most awarded digital agencies over 15 years. Winner of Silver in Entrepreneur of the Year 2022. With deep expertise in digital strategy, business development, and leadership, he now brings that same passion and precision to Greater Star.
